Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your purchase of reports, directories and newsletter subscriptions from Reconnaissance International ("we", "us", "our") via shop.reconnaissance.net. By placing an order, you accept these terms.

1. Ordering

No account or registration is required to purchase. You may pay by card (via Stripe) or request an invoice. Orders from personal email addresses go through a short review before we confirm them. All prices shown are in GBP and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise; VAT is added where applicable.

2. Payment and invoicing

Card payments are processed immediately by Stripe. If you request an invoice, we will issue one separately and your order is fulfilled once payment is received. If you require a VAT invoice for a card payment, contact us at [email protected].

3. Delivery of digital products

PDF reports and directories are delivered via a secure, time-limited download link sent to the email address you provide. Each link allows up to 5 downloads within 7 days of issue. If your link expires or you reach the download limit, contact us and we will re-issue it — there is no charge for this.

4. Delivery of print products

Where you order a printed report, directory, or a newsletter subscription that includes print, we dispatch the physical copy separately from any PDF delivery. Shipping fees, where applicable, are shown as a separate line item at checkout. Delivery times vary by destination.

5. Refunds and cancellations

Because our reports and directories are digital products delivered immediately on payment, and because newsletter subscriptions grant immediate access to content, we do not offer refunds once a download link has been issued or a subscription activated, except where required by law or where we are at fault (e.g. a faulty or corrupted file). If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us promptly at [email protected] and we will investigate.

6. Newsletter subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed annually, in advance, for the tier and format you select. Access is provided via login credentials to our newsletter platform, issued after payment. Subscriptions do not renew automatically; we will contact you ahead of expiry to arrange renewal.

7. Intellectual property

All reports, directories and newsletter content remain the copyright of Reconnaissance International or its licensors. Purchasing a product grants you a licence to use it for your own internal business purposes only. You may not redistribute, resell, or make copies available to third parties beyond what your licence tier (e.g. Charter, Enterprise) expressly permits.

8. Liability

Our reports and directories are provided for general informational purposes. While we take care to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee that the content is complete, up to date, or suitable for any particular purpose, and we accept no liability for decisions made in reliance on it. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
