CN House Notes V3

House notes (also known as concept, sample, or specimen notes) are non-circulating, design-focused banknotes produced by banknote printers and substrate and feature suppliers to promote their design and technical capabilities, introduce their latest features and/or celebrate special events, anniversaries, and other milestones.

 

The third edition of this report includes house notes from Authentix, Bundesdruckerei, Canadian Bank Note Company, CCL Secure, China Banknote Printing & Minting, Crane Currency, Hueck Folien, IMBISA/Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions, Louisenthal, Komori, KURZ, Oberthur Fiduciaire, Orell Füssli/Koenig & Bauer Vision & Protection, and PWPW. It reviews the features, the technologies, production processes, and partnerships that have generated these notes. But it also looks at the design rationale that underpins each. They all tell a story, and it is these stories that make these notes truly come to life.
